If your eyelids twitch involuntarily then that is another sign of health dysfunction. I have seen many patients who have had their eyes checked by a qualified ophthalmologist or neurologist for their eyelids twitching, when really this is not a pathological issue at all. This twitching, sometimes diagnosed as a blepharospasm (although to a much lesser degree), is an uncontrollable fluttering, usually of the lower eyelid, for a few seconds to several minutes. Considering that there is not a problem with your eye, or some other major issue going on, this is usually another sign of stress from the adrenal glands being over taxed.
